Since 1986, RugWorld has been a trusted and respected household name in quality rugs throughout New Zealand.
Magical Rugs is our online shop- but we have a RugWorld physical shop(tap for details) where you can touch and see products, and ask questions before purchasing- or just come for a visit and work through some ideas.
RugWorld still exists as it always has- we are the same trusted family owned company, preparing for our next chapter.
Times have changed and so has our outlook- keeping the business small and simple but still providing our full product range and services.
Our new RugWorld showroom- we have most item designs in one or two sizes, with the balance of sizes available in our warehouse which is 5 mins away in Silverdale industrial area- this actually works well and most of the time we can get the item in to the store the next day.
We have genuine hand-knotted rugs such as Aubusson rugs, natural jute woven rugs, traditional wool Belgian rugs, plus many more. You can see a sample of some of our rugs in our video on YouTube.

We have slimmed down our operations to suit the ever changing economic climate, however we still have the highest quality, value for money, beautiful rugs, and we still offer the most personal and interactive services to help you find the best quality and style for your application, whether it be for your front door, lounge, holiday home, or your business- an emphasis on happy customers which is our no.1 goal.
We have a low sensory, soothing atmosphere- with tuned lighting for colour reproduction and quiet soothing music.
We work with you to work through what size, colours and styles you are after and show suggestions of what may be available.
This is often is much quicker to narrow down options to the most suitable.
